“In loving memory of Barbara J Strode, So dearly loved. So sadly missed. God bless. She was so full of life and enjoyed her work and the people she associated with being the Woman's Club past President and all of the good that was achieved by them throughout the state. As my older sister we had great times together and the last time I saw her was 09/2017 when she was on Vacation in Asheville, NC for 5 wonderful days of memory. She shall be missed by those that knew her. My love to Her.”

“I was so saddened to just learn Barbara had passed. I'd sent her the usual Jacquie Lawson Halloween and Thanksgiving cards and wondered why she hadn't responded as she always loved them. When the anticipated Xmas party invitation didn't arrive, I was tied up with the storm damage and failed to call her. She so loved being hostess and sharing her beautiful decorations and village with friends. Life and especially Xmas won't be the same without her. Cheryl Gross”
