It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Karis (Santa Rosa Beach, Florida), born in La Crosse, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 1, 2020, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Giles Karis and Ruth Karis (Steinhoff). He is survived by: his fiancée Marie Schmidt; his children, Eric Karis of St Paul, MN, Michelle Stovall (Jonathan) and Stephanie Karis; his grandchildren, Teagen, Lucy, Karis Stovall, Joshua Schmidt, Stacy Krook and Oliver; and his siblings, Susan Ronnenberg (Ray) of La Crescent, MN, Paul Karis (Donna) of Roberts, WI and Lori Karis of St Paul, MN.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as Marie's extended family.
