He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Overturf and Odean Stevenson Overturf. He is survived by: his wife Emma Overturf; his daughters, Vickie A. Vivartlas and Lisa R. Peoples; and his sister Sissie Coffman. He is also survived by three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home (150 FL-20, Freeport, FL 32439). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Barrancas National Cemetery (1 Cemetery Rd, Pensacola, FL 32508).
