She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Overton and Mary Alice Mayes Overton; her husband George Richard Blackburn, Jr.; and her sisters, Dorothy Reynolds and Linda Horn.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Gerard Hargis (Cari), Clifford Lee Bright (Amanda), Sylvia Darlene Reiter of Louisiana and Patricia Moore; and her brother Harold Overton (Linda) of Kentucky. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
