She was predeceased by: her parents, James Scott Smallwood and Cora Hunt Smallwood; her husband Lloyd Lemuel Gillette, Jr.; and her siblings, Kathy Thomas, John, Edward, Doc and Junior Smallwood.
She is survived by: her daughter Rae Gillette Schilder; her grandchildren, John Scott Gillette (Liz) and Sierra LelaRae Schilder; and her sisters, Ruby Phillips and Geraldine Phillips (James). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to SOCKS (Save Our Cats & Kittens) of Fort Walton Beach.
