He is survived by: his wife Mónica Lagos Espinoza; his stepdaughters, Simonne Saldivia Lagos and Catalina Saldivia Lagos (James Darnbrook); his stepgrandchild Isidora Darnbrook Saldivia; his parents, Joan Corley and John Leland (Sandra Leland); and his brothers, Robert, Stuart and John. He is also survived by many loving in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and stepbrothers.

Mark was one of the kindest and open-hearted persons I have ever met. Coming to America for me was always synonymous with visiting Mark.
