He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Taylor and Claude Taylor; his wife Patricia; and his sisters, Doris Porter, Joanne Roberts and Nancy Donnell.
He is survived by: his partner Karene Hall; and his children, William Boyd (Elizabeth), Janice Benjamin, Daniel (Kimberly) and Betsey Nelson (Dennis). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
