Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved David Carl Ristau of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, who passed away at the age of 82, on February 28, 2022. He was predeceased by: his parents, Norma Ristau and Carl Ristau; and his brother Jack. He is survived by: his former wife Karen Spangenberg; his wife Debra; his children, Elizabeth McKee (Tim), Rich Ristau (Pam), Josh Sonniksen (Jacklyn) and Marti Sonniksen (Chris); and his grandchildren, Jessie Evans, Mikayla Veith (Brayden), Matthew McKee, Dylan, Ellie Sonniksen, William and Thomas Ristau.
The couple moved to Madison and lived there through most of the COVID Pandemic, moving to Florida to be near family only a few months ago.
As Alzheimer's took its toll, David wanted to be back in Wisconsin.
