It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Marie Demilta (Sanford, Florida), who passed away on July 9, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Porter Evans Pitts and Dorothy Ruth Schnuk Pitts; her husbands, Jerre L. Gillanders and Joseph Donald DeMilta; her son Kenneth Craig Gillanders; her son-in-law Richard Joseph Reid; her brother-in-law Robert W. Pavitt; her nephew Eric L. Pavitt; and her great-niece Brandy Pavitt.

She is survived by: her daughter Katherine Diane Reid; her daughter-in-law Elaine Gillanders; and her sister Barbara Pavitt. She is also survived by four nieces and nephews, fifteen great-nieces and nephews, and several great-great nieces and nephews.
