He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Josephs and Solomon Pierce; and his siblings, Herman Pierce and Lena Green. He is survived by: his children, Andrew Pierce (Jacqueline Chin), Rory Pierce (Suzanne Pierce) and Phillip Pierce (Ian Pierce); and his grandchildren, Matthew Chin, Sarah Rose (Daniel), Zachary Pierce, Lauren Chin, Melissa Pierce and Jordanna Pierce.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes either floral tributes or donations to the Parkinson Association of Central Florida in Olrick's name.
