She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas Shields and Margaret Lanter Shields Jenkins; her spouse Hansford "Hank" Gallagher; her son David Hansford Gallagher; and her sisters, Patsy "Pat" Shields and Brenda Shields.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vicki Bishop (Rick), Cindy Ammerman (Gil) and Rhonda Tate (Billy); her grandchildren, Ashley Bishop, Whitney Woodworth, Brentany Slaton (Damon), Kristin Weaver (Jarrod), David J. Gallagher (Kristin) and Haylee Gallagher; her great grandchildren, Joseph, Isaac, Raelynn, Austin, Dylan, Elijah, Willow, Kai, Ivy and Amaris; and her siblings, Joyce Ann Coleman (Steve), Pete Shields (Mary Ann) and Johnny Shields (Kim).
