He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Armstrong and Viola Armstrong; and his sister Elizabeth Beach of Harrisonburg, VA.. He is survived by: his daughter Tammy Pruden (Gerald); his grandchildren, Christopher Simmons (Sofia) and Chelsea Shortridge; his brother Marvin Armstrong (Barbara) of Harrisonburg, VA.; and his grandchildren, Hayden, Emma and Mason.
