He was predeceased by: his parents, Lional Lawson Sipes and Eunice Dona Sheffield Sipes. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Sipes; and his grandchildren, Maurice Young (Jessie), Joey Avery (Shannon), Jamie Martin (Zach), Terrell Young (Eve), Julie Gamble (Tim) and Jesse Corbitt (Rosa).
