He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Adkinson and Mary Pearl Spooner Adkinson; and his brother C. Adkinson, Jr.. He is survived by: his son Jim; his wife Sue Johnson Adkinson; and his daughters, Tammi and Pam. He is also survived by children and several cousins.
