He was predeceased by: his former wife Betty. He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his sons, Corwin (Daisy) of Atlanta, GA and Gerald Jr. (Sharon) of Daytona Beach, Florida.; and his brother Larry (Barbara). He is also survived by three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
