She was predeceased by: her husband Clyde Evans; her parents, James McDaniel and Mary McDaniel; and her siblings, James McDaniel and Gloria Huffman.
She is survived by: her siblings, Rita Platfoot, Dennis McDaniel and Ruth Cain; her son Jeff Whitaker; and her granddaughters, Sophie Holloway and Siv Jane Whitaker.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home (5000 Co Rd 46A, Sanford, FL 32771). A graveside service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Oaklawn Park Cemetery (5000 Co Rd 46A, Sanford, FL 32771).
