She is survived by: her brother Gus Galdi; her daughter Maria Serena Porter (Kevin); her daughter-in-law Colleen Katowich Serena; her son Frank Serena (Joy); her grandchildren, Gregory Serena (Tricia), Anne Serena, Laura Serena Mazzeo (Gary), Nicholas Serena (Bridget McCormick), Sarah Porter (Jimmy Clarity), Kyle Porter (Tiffany), Ric Serena (Jennifer), Carli Serena and Joseph Serena (Jaymie); and her great grandchildren, Isola, Gregory and Nicholas Serena. She is also survived by seven nieces and four nephews.
