He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Mae (Babe); his parents, P. E. Richard and Alma Richard; and his brother Edwin Richard. He is survived by: his children, Tampa, Jerry (Diane) of Crystal Lake, IL, Mark (Lisa Courtney) of Plantation, FL and Deb Richard of Deltona; his grandchildren, Brittany Tolmie (Billy), Amanda McCrimmon (Sean), Devin Richard, Sean Richard, Paige Workman and Brook Richard; and his great grandchildren, Alex, Cheryl, Hailey Mae, Autumn and Lily Mae.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children in Tampa, FL.
