He is survived by: his children, William B. Painter Jr. (Wendy) of Yulee, Jerry Gillenwater of Huntington, Diana Crosby (James) of Sanderson and Connie Wilcox (Wayne) of Graham; his siblings, Roland and Margaret Morgan (Virgil) of Newark, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Bradley, Joshua, Aaron, Kelli, Timothy, Haley, Lauren, Chelsi and Emma.
