He is survived by: his daughter Stacie Lynn Evans-Burnette; his granddaughter Somer Burnette Askevold (Erik); and his siblings, Denton Bowen (Debra), Darrell Bowen (Candy), Nancy Bowen Chunn, Charita Bowen Hurst and Dana Bowen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
