Chancey T. Blackburn Sr. Obituary
Mr. Chancey T. Blackburn, age 28 of Sanderson, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017. A lifelong Baker County resident, Mr. Blackburn enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also liked four wheeling in the woods with his friends. He loved spending time with his family, especially his children. He is survived by his wife: Ashley Marie Miley of Kingsland, GA; sons: Chancey T. Blackburn Jr. and Benjamin G. Blackburn of Kingsland, Georgia; daughter: Zoey C. Blackburn of Kingsland, Georgia; parents: Phillip and Wanda Davis Blackburn of Sanderson; brothers: Michael Davis of Sanderson, Justin Brogdon, James (Kelly) Brogdon, and Johnny Ray Brogdon, all of Glen St. Mary; sisters: Brandi (Robert) Tomlinson of Sanderson and April Brogdon of Glen St. Mary; and step-grandmother: Louise Blackburn of Louisville, KY.
Numerous other family members also survive. He was preceded in death by his brother: Phillip D. Blackburn; maternal grandparents: JR Davis and Clarice Davis Stackhouse; and paternal grandparents: Homer T. Blackburn and Mildred Blackburn. Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Monday, March 27, 2017 in the chapel of Forbes Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at North Prong Cemetery, Sanderson. The family will receive friends 3-5:00pm, Sunday, March 26, 2017 at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Forbes Funeral Home, Macclenny, 904-259-4600.
