He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Collins and Ruth Collins; his siblings-in-law, George and Nora Rensel; and his sisters, Judith Hollister and Nancy Collins.
He is survived by: his father-in-law George Rensel; his wife Nancy Rensel Larrison; his children, Eric Collins, Karl Collins, Christina Haas and Stephanie (Mark Winkle); his stepchildren, Lauren (Jeff Abell) and John Larrison; his siblings, David Collins and Susan Collins; and his grandchildren, Brett, Allison Haas, Emily, Kyle Winkle, Jenna and Bryce Abell. He is also survived by five nephews.
He was a member of the San Mateo Presbyterian Church where he donated his time and he volunteered on various projects at the Hillcrest Baptist Church in Palatka.
