We are sad to announce that on September 12, 2021, at the age of 82, Richard Howard Simmons (San Mateo, Florida) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Simmons and Elizabeth Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Patsy; his sisters, Billie Jean Kennedy, Babe Sharpton and Muffet Murrell (Larry) of Jupiter, FL; and his sons, Rick Simmons (Kris) of Bunnell and Randy Simmons (Bobbie) of Bunnell. He is also survived by five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
