"Bernard" Gilyard (Cathy) of East Palatka, Jenifer Gilyard (Carolyn), San Mateo and Jethro Gilyard (Josephine); his sister Lillian Curry Lee; his sister-in-law Dr. Lilla G. Holsey of San Mateo; his godson James Jackson; and his nieces, Sandra Gilyard and Regina Gilyard-Thomas. He was also cherished by 39 grandchildren, 67 great-grandchildren, 26 great great-grandchildren.
