With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anita Jean Nelson of San Mateo, Florida, born in Jamestown, North Dakota, who passed away on August 6, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Taylor and Della Taylor; and her brother Donald Taylor (Elaine). She is survived by: her husband Richard Nelson of San Mateo; her son Steven Nelson of Ft. Myers; her siblings, Jeanette Schluter (Rod) of Valley City and Thomas Taylor (Lahna) of Farmington; and her pet Oreo. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to Palatka Sunrise Rotary's scholarship program, or to Putnam First Cancer Fund.
