Sophie Emma Storch Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sophie Emma Storch of San Antonio, Florida, who passed away on November 11, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Gude and Clem Gude; her husband Edward Storch; her children, Jerry Storch and Janet Parker; and her siblings, Florian (Sylvia Gude), Leonard Gude, Eda (Louis Barthle), Cecelia (John Scharber), Mildred (Bill Scharber) and Agnes (John McCarthy).
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Merritt (Larry), Edward Storch (Rose), Linda Venable (Tim), James Storch (Laurie) and Sandra Castle (David); her daughter-in-law Ginger Storch; and also, Frank Gude (Andrea) and Carl Gude (Louise). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (32825 Rhode Island Ave, San Antonio, FL 33576).
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to Haven Hospice of Chiefland, FL and Ayers Health and Rehabilitation Center in Trenton, FL.
