He was predeceased by: his parents, Aloysius Cyril and Mable Cramer; his siblings, Barbara Evans, David Cramer and Mark Cramer; and his son-in-law Melvin Hicks.
He is survived by: his wife Gisela "Chela" Arosemena; his brother James Cramer (Ruth); his children, Judge Elizabeth Rice (Edwin), Michele Hicks and John Cramer II; his grandchildren, Kevin Hicks (Samantha), Jason Hicks, Alexandra Rice, Erin Rice and Maya Cramer Hagelin; and his great grandchildren, McKenzie and Kye. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
