He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Linda Traxler Adkins; his wife Beverly Adkins; his children, James Robert Adkins II, Stacy Marie Adkins and Christopher W. Graves; his siblings, Rosemary McCaul, Jeff Adkins, Laura West, Jimmie Adkins and Jack Adkins; his stepson Jerry Lee Graves; and his brothers, Roy Adkins and Joe Adkins. He was also cherished by 4 grandchildren.
