We are sad to announce that on September 6, 2018, at the age of 94, Wilma Barber (Salt Springs, Florida), born in Carrabelle, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ocie Barber; her parents, James A. Hendry and Lois Hiers Hendry; and her grandson Stephen Heisler. She is survived by: her children, Gloria Heisler Taylor (Ernest) of Brentwood, TN, Patricia Heisler Tison of Palatka and Danny Heisler (Karen) of Palatka; and her grandchildren, Dean Taylor (Kelly) of Nashville, TN, Derek Taylor (Catherine) of Richmond, VA, Elisa Taylor Romans (Trent) of Nashville, TN, Tammy Brand of Ormond Bch, Terri Cavanaugh of Ormond Bch, Randall Tison (Jaime) of Ormond Bch, Christopher Heisler of Palatka and Matthew Redmond of St. Petersburg. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be sent to Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center, 6400 St. Johns Ave., Palatka, FL 32177 or to Rodeheaver Boys Ranch, 380 Boys Ranch Road, Palatka, FL 32177.
