It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sarah Louella Smeal of Salt Springs, Florida, born in Grantsville, Maryland, who passed away on May 14, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Durst and Kristine Durst; her husband Wallace; and her siblings, Nevin Durst, Alice Novak, Donald Durst, Clem Durst and Midge Durst.

She is survived by: her children, Robert C. Smeal, Sr. and Sarah D. Stidd. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Marion County.
