It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Minnie Highsmith of Salt Springs, Florida, born in Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on March 10, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Latimer Highsmith and Arnelia Viola Highsmith; her husband Albert Norman Highsmith; and her children, Wayne, Melvin, Norman Highsmith and Norma Jean.

She is survived by: her son Tony Highsmith; her stepson Lamar Newton; and her siblings, John, David, Aaron Highsmith and Betty Lou. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
