She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Marvin and Fannie Finn (Parnell); her foster parents, Walter Strickler and Ethel Strickler; her birth parents, Thomas and Fannie Finn; her husband Edwin Neumann; her daughter Sally Jo; her grandson Cody James Smith; and her siblings, Elsie Finn Norton, Marvin Haynes, Thomas Haynes and Elizabeth Crider.
She is survived by: her former husband Charles Herbert Sykes; her children, George Sykes (Kandy), Lindy Deusner (Dennis), Susan Smith (Ed), Charles Robyn Sykes (Rhoda) and Brian Sykes (Brad); and her grandchildren, Jennifer Brandt, Christy Adkins, Elizabeth Webster, Elissa Deusner, John Sykes and Westley Smith. She is also survived by several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
