He is survived by: his pets, Abby and Allie; his children, Katrina Smith (David Schwartz), Terry Paine (Debbie), Suzanne Schauf (Richard) and Karyn Carpenter (Martin); his grandchildren, Sarah Lidbom (Derek), Leslie Szafranski, Benjamin Paine, Robert Paine, Julie Molloy, Jacob Paine (Erika Weiss), Rachel Schauf, Lydia Schauf, Jacky Wheeler, Maxwell Paine, Katrina Carpenter, Michael Carpenter and Skylar Carpenter; and his great grandchildren, Issac Lidbom, Anna Lidbom, Hazel Lidbom, Eliot Szafranski and Holden Paine.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranch.
