It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Annette Lawler (Saint Petersburg, Florida), who passed away on February 21, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Mary Annette may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gorton and Ligoria Gorton; and her son Matthew William Lawler. She is survived by: her husband James Thomas Lawler of Mary's Church; and her children, Mary (Doug Krieger), Jim (Barbara Lawler), David (Karen Lawler) and Amy (Daly McAfee). She is also survived by five children, who gave them ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Blessed Trinity Catholic Church (1600 54th Ave S, St. Petersburg, FL 33705).
