With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joel Weisberg of Saint Petersburg, Florida, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joel left this world on February 22, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Weisberg and Rose Weisberg; and his former wife Nancy Oren Weisberg. He is survived by: his wife Jill Greenstein Weisberg; his sons, Larry A. Weisberg (Rebecca) of Harrisburg and David I. Weisberg of Philadelphia; his sister Alaine Handfinger of Augusta, Georgia; his grandchildren, Hannah Weisberg, Alison Sprouls (Gary), Aaron Weisberg, Cutter Weisberg and Lexi Weisberg; and his great grandchildren, Shoshana Sprouls and Jack Sprouls.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Joel's honor may be made to the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research (stopsarcoidosis.org) or the American Civil Liberties Union (aclu.org).
