He was predeceased by: his wife Janet Ann Scheetz; his parents, Alfred Nash Scheetz and Alice Clark Thompson; his sister Eleanor Ruth Schwab; his son-in-law John Patrick Ryder; and his grandson Jacob Alfred Scheetz.
He is survived by: his children, Alfred Scheetz (Sandra) of Philadelphia, PA, Lisa "Missy" Whaley of Oil Springs, ON and Laura Ryder of Virginia Beach, VA; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Samuel Scheetz, Rachel Whiting (Michael) and Jack Ryder; and his great grandchild Hank Whiting.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Our Lady's Chapel - the Cathedral of St. Jude (5815 5th Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33710). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery (11801 US-19, Clearwater, FL 33764).
