He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen B. Moorefield and Aubrey T (Moorefield); and his grandson Collin Reed Moorefield. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn F. Moorefield; his children, Jennifer M. Kahn (David) of Atlanta and H. Michael Moorefield (Breck) of St. Petersburg; his grandchildren, Bennett Kahn, Harry Kahn, William Kahn, Tinsley Moorefield and Aubrey Moorefield; his sister Marty Gilleland (Robert) of St. Louis; and his brother-in-law David Foy (Diane) of Knoxville, TN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (701 Beach Dr NE, St. Petersburg, FL 33701).
