He was predeceased by: his sister Karen Rachel Smith; and his parents, Col. James Stanley Smith and Helena Rose Kennedy Smith of St. Petersburg. He is survived by: his sisters, Melena Darr of St. Petersburg and Valerie Richardson (Jamie) of Grand Junction, CO. He is also survived by three nephews and one brand new great nephew, plus several cousins.
