He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Fischer and Anne Fischer; his half-siblings, Ernest Percun, Richard Fischer, Walter "Cookie" Fischer and Alice Specht; and his pet Snowy.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Ann Fischer; his children, Jeff Fischer, Marcia Fischer Caskey (Lewis) and Julie Fischer Kisel (Paul); his grandchildren, Michael Maldonaldo (Matt Graham), Abby Fischer Castle (Brian), Clare Fischer Riley (Matt), Adam Maldonaldo and Tyler Spruill; and his great grandchild Nora Riley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Memorial Park Funeral Home (5750 49th St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33709). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (7851 54th Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33709).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
