Though Beatrice Laverne may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Beatrice Laverne touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Brown and Lillie Gideons Battles; her husband Richard C. Parrish; and her son Richard Dane Parrish. She is survived by: her daughter Denise Parrish-Forster of St. Petersburg, FL; her brother Judge Battles (Vivian Battles) of Tampa, FL; her grandchildren, Peyton Forster and R. Pryce Forster (Maggie Forster); and her great grandchildren, Lainey and Caroline Forster. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Linden Cemetery (4735 Co Rd 772, Webster, FL 33597).
