He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Hake and Christina Hake (Konzem); his stepfather Claude McKnight; his sisters, Charlene Marek, Elaine Parrack and Ruth Jennings; his siblings-in-law, Mary Kay Hake, Faye Hake, Robert Jennings and Marvin Parrack; and his stepbrother Jack McKnight.
He is survived by: his wife Vera; his daughter Tania Hake Vanecek (Carl); his granddaughters, Lt. Alina Hake Vanecek and Sophia Noelle Hake Vanecek; his brothers, Jerome Hake, Leon Hake (Gail) and Meldon Hake; his brother-in-law Michael Jaworski; and his sisters, Marilyn Balaun (Larry) and Karen Walters (Harry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
