He is survived by: his wife Kathi Dean; his mother Jane; his stepfather John (Myers); his sisters, Jill (Kuipers) and Heather (Webb); his brothers-in-law, Remco and Kevin; and his nieces and nephews, Emma, Tessa, Nora, Casey, Morgan, Mia, Jack and Scott.

The family is asking that donations be made to the American Heart Association.
