He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Angie Alligood Guy (David), Tiffannie Alligood, Stacey Alligood (Mike Johnson), Ron Weltmer (Camille) and Eric Weltmer Chris Alligood, Jr. (James); and his parents, Doris Brown Hutch and Carl Alligood. He was also cherished by twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, his family asks that donations be made to Grace Baptist Church or The Rucki Hospice Care Center located at 5760 Dean Dairy Road, Zephyrhills, Florida 33541.
