We are sad to announce that on May 23, 2018, at the age of 82, Velva Lee Dewachter (Saint James City, Florida), born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur L. DeWachter; and her parents, William Navarre and Virgie Poore (Smalley). She is survived by: her children, Vickie, Jim Allen (Stewart) of Flat Rock, MI, Lee Ann, Tim Shallow (Stewart), Cindy Ellison (Clemons) of Monroe, MI, Laura, Robert Vining (Clemons) of Monroe, MI, Mark, Sheila Stewart of Vero Beach, FL, Jack and Sue Clemons of Saint Michael, MN; and her sister Rose Allore (Kinney) of Monroe, MI. She is also survived by numerous nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
