He was predeceased by: his parents, Cash Helms and Mary Helms (Cobb); and his son Jerry Allen Helms. He is survived by: his daughter Cindy Redmond (Joe); his daughter-in-law Deanna; his grandsons, David Redmond (Kendra) and Jacob Redmond (Mara); and his great grandchildren, Addelyn Grace, Brielle Elizabeth and Eli Michael. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
