It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Lawrence Jackson (Saint Augustine, Florida), who passed away on September 6, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Jackson and Sarah Smith; his siblings, Judy Prevost, Blaine and David Jackson; and his son Christopher Alan Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Vicki Jackson; his children, Debbie Schroeder (Wade) of St. Augustine, Lynda Mobley (Aaron) of St. Augustine, Lisa Hines of Sanford, Karen Cook of Denton, Texas and Daniel Jackson of St. Augustine; his brother James Donald Jackson (Jeri) of Macclenny, FL; his siblings-in-law, Doug Prevost of Thomson, GA and Pat Jackson of New Orleans, LA; his sister Debi Rideman (Ron) of St. Augustine; and his sister-in-law Kathy Jackson of Rayville, LA.. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to support Larry's 15-year-old great-niece, Kenley Commins.
