He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Elmore Johnson of St Augustine; and his daughter Cheryl D. Elmore. He is survived by: his daughter LaShet A. Johnson; and his siblings-in-law, Bertha Elmore and Clifford Elmore. He is also survived by loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of loving friends.
