He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel S. Browning II and Edith Williams Browning of Palatka. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Jo Currie Browning; his children, Janice Browning Steibly (Todd) of Tallahassee and Samuel S. Browning IV (Christi Sue) of Jacksonville, Florida; his grandchildren, McKinsey, Benjamin, Connor, Thomas and Nicholas; and his siblings, Frances Browning Griswell and Julian Browning. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
