He is survived by: his children, Marilyn Meade Garrett and Dr. Robert Meade, Jr.; his grandchildren, Brett Garrett, Andrew Garrett (Alexis), Geoffrey Garrett, Jeremy Gordon, Joel Gordon (Sarah), Jennifer Cartee (Justin), Jonathan Meade (Kate), Julianna Meade and Jessica Meade; and his great grandchild Adrian.
