He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Leahy and Beatrice Leahy (Mallon); his children, Cathy Ann Shurts (Leahy), Patrick Kevin Leahy and Jeremiah Leahy; and his brother Peter Leahy.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Ann Leahy (Brennan); and his son Michael Vincent Leahy, Jr.. He is also survived by five foster children.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Craig Funeral Home (1475 Old Dixie Hwy, St. Augustine, FL 32084). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church (6175 Datil Pepper Rd, St. Augustine, FL 32086).
